Toru Shirai (hereinafter referred to as “the Creator”) establishes this privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of personal information of users in the service provided by the Creator, “Myterry” (hereinafter referred to as “this Service”).

  4. Purchase and exchange history of points available in this Service.

Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

The purposes for which the Creator collects and uses personal information are as follows:

  1. To provide and operate the services offered by the Creator.
  2. To respond to inquiries from users (including identity verification).
  3. To send emails regarding new features, updates, and information about other services provided by the Creator.
  4. To deliver products, gifts, and prizes, etc.
  5. To contact users as necessary for maintenance and important notifications.

Article 4 (Changes to the Purpose of Use)

Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

The Creator will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases, unless permitted by the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws:

  1. When it is necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain consent from the individual.
  2. When it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of healthy development of children, and it is difficult to obtain consent from the individual.

  4. When the following matters have been announced or published in advance, and the Creator has notified the Personal Information Protection Commission:
    • Including the provision to third parties in the purpose of use.

    • The right of the individual to request the suspension of provision of personal information to third parties.
    • The method of accepting such requests from individuals.
  5. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the following cases shall not be considered as providing information to third parties:
    • When the Creator entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
    • When personal information is jointly used with specific individuals, provided that the individual has been notified in advance of the fact, the items of personal information jointly used, the scope of joint users, the purpose of use, and the name or title of the person responsible for managing such personal information.

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

The Creator will promptly disclose personal information when requested by the individual. However, the Creator may choose not to disclose all or part of the information if disclosure falls under any of the following circumstances. If a decision is made not to disclose, the individual will be promptly notified.

  1. If there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party.
  2. If there is a significant risk of hindering the proper implementation of the Creator’s service provision and operation.
  3. If disclosure would violate other laws.

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, personal information other than history information and characteristic information will generally not be disclosed.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

Users may request the correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as “correction, etc.”) of their personal information held by the Creator if it is incorrect, following the procedures specified by the Creator.

If the Creator deems it necessary to respond to such a request from a user, it will promptly make the necessary corrections.

If the Creator makes corrections based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or decides not to make corrections, it will promptly notify the user.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

If a user requests the suspension of use or deletion (hereinafter referred to as “suspension of use, etc.”) of personal information on the grounds that it has been handled beyond the purpose of use or has been acquired by improper means, the Creator will promptly conduct the necessary investigation.

Based on the results of the investigation in the preceding paragraph, if it is deemed necessary to respond to the request, the Creator will promptly suspend the use, etc., of the personal information.

If the Creator has suspended use, etc., based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or has decided not to suspend use, etc., it will promptly notify the user.

Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if there are significant costs involved in suspending use, etc., or if it is difficult to do so, the Creator will take alternative measures that are necessary to protect the rights and interests of the user.

Article 9 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)

The content of this Policy may be changed without notifying users, except for matters stipulated by laws or other provisions of this Policy. However, if significant changes that may have a substantial impact on users occur, the Creator will notify users in advance or publish such changes on this website.

Unless otherwise specified by the Creator, the revised privacy policy will take effect from the time it is published on this website.
